01 / About this policy
This policy explains how Mēlimi Studio (“we”, “us”), an architecture, engineering and design practice based in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, India, handles personal information collected through melimistudio.com. It applies only to this website.
02 / Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, the type of enquiry you select and your message.
Information recorded automatically. With each enquiry we record the country your connection comes from, and a scrambled code derived from your IP address. We don’t store the IP address itself; the code is used only to limit how many messages can be sent from one connection in a short period, which protects the form from spam.
We don’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and we collect nothing about you when you simply visit the site.
03 / How we use your information
We use your information to read and respond to your enquiry, to keep a record of our correspondence, and, if you apply to join the team, to consider your application. We don’t sell your information, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
04 / Your consent
By sending an enquiry, you consent to us using your information as described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us, and we will delete your information unless we need to keep it to complete work you have asked us to do.
05 / Service providers and storage
We rely on two service providers to run this website. Cloudflare hosts the site and stores enquiries in its database in the Oceania region. Google provides the inbox where enquiries are delivered, and serves the fonts used on the site; as with any site using Google Fonts, Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
These providers process information under their own privacy terms and may do so outside India. We share your information with no one else, except where the law requires it.
06 / How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact with you, then delete them from our database and inbox. If an enquiry leads to a project, the related correspondence becomes part of that project’s records and is kept for as long as those records are needed.
07 / How we protect it
Information sent through the site is encrypted in transit, and access to stored enquiries is limited to the studio. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
08 / Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct or update it, or to delete it. You may also raise any concern about how we have handled your information. Write to hello@melimistudio.com and we will respond within 30 days.
09 / Children
This website is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf.
10 / Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version here and change the date at the top of the page.
